Gorgonzola Dolce, Fig and Proscuitto Crostini

1 loaf Italian bread
4 ounces Gorgonzola Dolce cheese
2 ounces fig jam
2 ounces Proscuitto, sliced into small strips (optional)

Heat oven to 350F. Slice bread into rounds. Bake for until bread is lightly toasted, about 10 minutes. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes. Top each round with gorgonzola and jam. Bake until cheese is just melted, about 5 more minutes. Top with strip of prosciutto, if desired.
