We’re celebrating Earth Day with a special tasting of the new vintage of Old School Rosé! Biodynamic Apostles of the Languedoc, Chateau Maris is the vision of a seasoned winemaker crafting wines that reflect the land on which the grapes are grown — An approach to winemaking based on the key premise that wine is "grown", not "made". Château Maris strictly adheres to biodynamics, which is in effect a supercharged system of organic farming that adopts a holistic approach and views the entire vineyard as a livingsystem that is impacted by its surroundings. Biodynamics seeks to encourage vitality in the vineyard by introducing live matter into the soil through intensive composting. In addition, biodynamics places a strong emphasis on harnessing naturally occurring cycles and handpicked fruit reflective of the Minervois region in Languedoc. They work with plough horses (like the label-illustrated Karabi) for zero carbon emission and to be environmentally efficient. Their bottles are made of ultra light Ecova made from recycled glass and the labels of recycled paper. So stop by today to toast to this beautiful planet we all inhabit together! #ParkSlope #Brooklyn #NewYorkCity #NYC #Thingstodoinnyc #HAPPYEARTHDAY! Thanks Verity Wine Partners! #Cheers! ...
